Job Title: Production Manager (Total Media Production Limited)
Total Media Production is part of the Total Media Group, handling advertisement reproduction and print management on behalf of Group clients.
The position is a mix of PA to the Managing Director, Account Manager to clients and best friend to suppliers. If you think this is you read on.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Managing Director on the following tasks:
- Liasing with suppliers
- Liasing with media buying teams
- Obtaining cost estimates
- Maintaining job sheets
- Reconciling accounts for invoicing
- Invoicing and filing
- Handling client calls
- Ability to understand, take briefs and advise clients
- Develop and maintain sound working relationships with personnel at client companies
- Understanding different printing methods
- Learning about client businesses
- Learning media software systems
- Understanding print production jargon
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers
Additional Responsibilities
- Learn internal best practise systems.
- Support team on new business pitches
- Provide team support when Managing Director is absent
Skills/Experience Required to Perform Role
- Knowledge of pre-press ad production and print buying
- Minimum 2 years experience in ad production & print
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work to own initiative and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of all software used
- Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Able to construct basic presentations
- Competence in numeracy and literacy
- Energetic team player is essential
