Lucas is one of those rare people in the media industry with true all round experience, having worked across brand, direct and digital business. His career started in 1990 working at Leo Burnett as a media planner buyer before he moved to the media department of a smaller creative hot shop Leagas Shafron Davis in 1994. While at LSD he quickly progressed to become an Account Director and was featured in Media Weeks top 30 under 30. In 1998 he joined Zenith Media to become a founding partner and board director of Zed Media. Lucas helped build Zed up to become one of the leading direct and digital specialist in the UK, before he left to set up Total Media Direct Ltd in 2003.

At Total Media Lucas has driven direct, data and ROI strategies across Total Media clients. In 2008 Lucas was invited to join the IPA’s Value of Advertising Group, promoting a culture of effectiveness within the industry.

Lucas’s personal mantra is: “always treat the clients business like it was your own business”.
