Social Media Analyst Executive
The Social Media Analyst Executive will help take Total Media’s digital insights and reporting to a world class offering that will develop client interest on its own merit. Working initially in Social Media, the Social Media Analyst Executive will work across Total Media teams to integrate reports and identify gaps in Total Media’s offering.
Our ideal candidate will be a really fun and energetic personality who will help to maintain the high morale developed at Total Media. They will also be educated to degree level with a 2.1 or above (ideally in a science or maths related subject), be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) and be proficient in Microsoft Excel up to VBA (visual Basics for Applications) Level.
Key responsibilities:
- To create the template and deliver world class insights for Total Media’s social clients.
- To develop and implement strategy to quantify trends, social factors and Total Media work to exceed client expectations.
- To qualify social data to be understood by anyone.
Skills and experience required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Microsoft Excel to VBA level
- Experience of using SQL
- Experience of Html or C++
- Experience of Mathematical modelling utilising one of the following: (Matlab, Octave, Scilab, Freemat, Mathnium, Sysquake)

SEO Account Manager
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
SEO
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the major factors that influence search engine keyword rankings, content, site accessibility and indexing, link building, etc.
- Must have a thorough understanding of the process and methodology of natural link building in order to define and manage link development campaigns using different techniques.
- Strong understanding of web site development techniques, usability, SEO tools and site analytics packages.
- Have a good understanding of HTML code.
- Adhere to best practice organic search optimisation at all times.
- Being an SEO advocate and provide mentoring to the agency staff.
- Keep up to date with SEO news and technical developments and integrate recent search developments into client campaigns
- Broad experience using SEO & Analytics software such as Google Analytics, Google trends, Google Keyword tool, etc
Account Management
- Independently manage and take ownership for a portfolio of high value clients’ SEO activities including site audits, keyword research, social signals, benchmarking, information architecture, content writing for search and usability.
- Provide regular account management, including interaction with clients and partners via phone, emails and regular meetings.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all client deliverables
- Coordinate with team members and third parties (PR agencies, creative agencies, web development, etc) to ensure SEO is fully integrated in the clients’ marketing campaigns
- Educate clients on the changes in the search industry and how these changes could potentially affect the clients’ strategies and overall objectives.
- Demonstrate consistent focus on KPI's and ROI from SEO on client campaigns.
- Must be able to work autonomously and as part of the team
Necessary skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills essential
