Executive Chairman

Mike, the original founder of Total Media in 1982, is now Chairman of the agency.  He left Bristol University in 1966 with a degree in Classics – and a “Blue” in football.

Having spent his early career in the media departments of two of the “Academies” of the media industry, Mike decided at the age of 34, to set up his own independent media agency – and so Total Media was born.

Since that time, Mike has overseen the growth of the agency from 3 people in a rented office in Charing Cross, to a staff of 80+ in our offices in Kensington High Street and Warwick.

Mike lives in Chiswick, west London, with his wife Geraldine, and two children, Georgie and Cameron.  He is a keen photographer, loves going on safari, and has been struggling (and failing) for many years, to get his golf handicap into single figures.
