Learning and Development Director
Nigel started his career in Media in 1974 at Foote Cone and Belding planning and buying on accounts such as British Airways, Dulux and Gordons Gin. After 4 years he moved on to Davidson Pearce (British Gas, Brooke Bond Oxo and TWA) where he met Mike Sell, who founded Total Media a few years later. A trip across the ‘Pond’ to Chicago and J Walter Thompson (Kraft Foods, Kelloggs and Sears) lasted 6 years, before heading back to the UK and Total Media.
Nigel has been working at Total Media for 25 years and is responsible for running the Gold Standard Training and Development programme, agency recruitment and culture teams. He also designs and delivers several training workshops and works as an Executive Coach with senior members of the team.
