The role

We are looking for a full time, permanent BUSINESS ANALYST to join our growing team based in London. Working with our Lead Engineer, the role will focus on delivering both paid, client-facing products and internal ones to both support and extend our behavioural planning offering.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building SQL Views and Tableau Dashboards for Paid Media and Behave clients
  • Participating in discovery and client requirement gathering sessions
  • Owning the dashboarding products, including commercials and SLA
  • Working with Lead Engineer and Data Strategy Director to create new products
  • Creating and running internal and client training, and mentoring & upskilling junior team members

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining Tableau Dashboards
  • Developing Transformation and Loading SQL scripts
  • Work within an Agile framework to deliver projects
  • Maintain appropriate documentation via GitHub
  • As a senior team member, help set work priorities and development direction

Skills (mandatory)

  • 2-3 years experience in SQL, building dashboards, reporting and insights within an analytical role
  • Experience with enterprise-level dashboarding products, Tableau preferred
  • Good understanding of visualisation theory and best practise
  • Experience with APIs, ETL tools, data warehouse architecture such as RedShift
  • Familiarity with cloud providers. AWS highly desirable, GCP/Azure/IBM useful
  • Ability to gather, understand & interpret business requirements
  • Capability to independently problem solving and make decisions

Skills (optional)

  • Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python are valuable but not required
  • Experience within Media, Marketing and Advertising preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of newer tech such as SnowFlake or Loop Horizon highly desirable
