AJ Bell

We’re thrilled to share the news that the award-winning investment platform AJ Bell has joined us as a new client.

Our behavioural led approach won the competitive pitch, with AJ Bell chosing us as their media planning and buying agency to help them grow awareness and market share. Together with AJ Bell, we will build a three pillar strategy to get the brand noticed, drive consideration by targeting behaviour and maximise conversion using behavioural-led insights.

With 76% of UK adults not on track to have the income they need for retirement, and in a cluttered and confusing market with unclear guidance, we will use our behavioural expertise and targeting to get AJ Bell’s offering in front of the right audience at the right time.

We’ve already hit the ground running with the launch of AJ Bell’s new multi-million pound Feel Good Investing campaign across TV, VOD, radio, press and podcasts.

Following our appointment, Charlie Musson, brand and PR director at AJ Bell says:

“Our customers tell us that investing makes them feel in control, optimistic and secure. Our new campaign focuses on this positive emotion of ‘Feel good, investing’ and we hope to encourage more people to take advantage of the long-term benefits investing can give them. Total Media’s expertise will not only help us reach customers who need us the most, but also understand their behaviour and how best to reach them.”

Our CEO, Tom Laranjo says:

“At Total Media, we recognise that AJ Bell has a product that is best in class, but awareness around it is relatively low. We can see the potential for that to change drastically using behavioural targeting to ensure the product is in front of the right people at the right time. We’re looking forward to taking some innovative approaches with this campaign and working alongside the AJ Bell team to make this possible.”
