B Corp
At the heart of everything that we do are our efforts to be a more inclusive and sustainable business. One of our team rightly said “you’ll spend most of your week at work – why not try and create the kind of company you want to work for?”, which is why we are extremely proud to be recognised as a B Corporation. A status that displays our commitment to balance social and environmental performance alongside profit to ensure our business benefits all people, communities, and our planet.
Going green
Our ‘Green Team’ help keep day to day environmental matters moving forward, whether that be changing our website to green severs, auditing our processes to reduce paper usage, or introducing an electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme in addition to our cycle-to-work scheme. Through a combination of our Green Team’s efforts, we became completely carbon neutral three years ahead of our 2025 goal and eight years before the Ad Net Zero target. On top of this, we became the first UK independent media agency to offer our clients carbon-neutral campaigns.
DEI
We are committed to fostering an equal, diverse and inclusive culture and strive to be truly representative of all sections of society. We aim to ensure each employee feels respected in a working environment that is free of bullying, harassment, victimisation and discrimination. Central to achieving our diversity goals is our Diversity & Inclusion team who are passionately committed to ensuring D&I is at the forefront of our agency decision making and that we remain accountable to the 10 commitments set out in the Adland Commits charter we signed.
Outreach
We recognise the importance of building a culture that has a social conscience, creating an Outreach Programme that involves everyone across our agency. We have fostered a truly collaborative & working partnership with the Young Westminster Foundation who believe all young people in Westminster should grow up healthy, safe & happy with the best opportunities for brighter futures. In the past 12 months we have worked with YWF on 40+ projects including running workshops, securing free media space, and running a research project through our consultancy Behave to gain actionable insights into growing issues around serious youth violence.
Our commitments
We continue to challenge ourselves with big picture goals. In terms of DEI we’re committed to increasing the number of women and Black and Minority Ethnic employees in senior positions across the business, aiming to foster an inclusive culture to attract, retain and develop employees of all underrepresented groups. Our work with YWF allows us to make impactful changes in terms of our local community and serious youth violence. In addition, by introducing smarter, more sustainable practices and suppliers, along with considered investment in offsetting solutions, we are able to hit our environmental goals.
